I downloaded and scanned this... no virus, works fine for me. :)

EDIT:

On further experimentation, it's NOT a virus, but it IS glitchy, so DO NOT get this one. It closed itself whenever I tried to open and edit large files... so I uninstalled and got a different torrent.

When it's done open map Crack and replace the file called 'Photoshop'
with the file in C:Program FilesAdobeAdobe Photoshop CS3 !!!!!

found no virus, its running, just that the crack file disappears when you click it.

that is a symptom of a virus, but no actual virus.


and even if there is a virus, could u please name it? better know the name and be on the safe side.

Ok friends...here is the breaking news...this torrent DOES contain virus.

This post is for all those who have wasted their precious MBs behind this torrent and in the hope to save them from downloading another torrent.

First of all, the installation is clean. It does not create any problem while installing on my XP SP2 box. The problem is in the crack. The crack is infact a wrapper of the original crack. Yes, the crack does contain the original crack file but when you execute it, it will drop three files in following locations

So, as you might have already understood, Photoshop.exe is the original crack file while the other two are unwanted. I did the scan for the two files and the results are as follows....

Note: Do this when you are not connected to internet or you have a firewall installed.

If you execute the crack and if you have a firewall installed you will get notifications that the above two files (crack.exe and setup_ver1.1773.0.exe) are trying to connect to some sites...maybe for downloading more of their brother and sisters and a message , "The licensing system failed catashtophically...". Now don't press OK. Goto %USERPROFILE%Local SettingsTempIXP000.TMP and copy the photoshop.exe to some safe location. Now press OK. The folder will be deleted. Copy this Photoshop.exe to your program files location and you are done. Delete rest of the files.

Don't listen to any of these people giving you links to keygens. They're all trojans/worms. Use the crack given in the torrent.

I scanned the crack with AVG 8 and it's fine. And AVG is really sensitive aswell.
