Ive posted the solution earlier today ;) install service pack 1 for vista and you'll be fine. It is required as told in the system requirements, haven't found a working crack though.. someone else did? post a screenschot if you have ;)

I haven't tried this release thanks to all leechers in the whole world who upload with 3kb/s.

Anyways, the release I've used got it's own crack and when I first launch the game, I saw the cam was shaking and spinning like **** . First I thought it was the game but then I realized it's because these cracks we'r using.

Long story short.. If you encounter this problem block internet access for these exe's from your firewall software:

Raising your upload speed will dramatically increase your download speed. 80% of upload connection is the rule to get maximum download speeds. figure 5kB/s download per 1kB/s upload. (based on I was using 10kB upload and was getting less than 50kB download. I set it to 100kB up and got 250kB down on the torrent i was on. Wasnt many people on that time of day.

This is the worst GTA ever. And I'm a fanboy of all of the GTA's so far. Extremely poor console conversion, carm and weapons removed, missions so lame and unrealistical, everything sucks. Including the graphics which is nothing spectacular (on the contrary actualy), but runs 2 times worst than Crysis on Very High with 4xAA...Something wrong here baby!

@ Listero.. An 8600 gt is an old card not capable of much anymore.. Ofcourse gta wont run with it.. These days you need a minimum of 9800gtx ...

I have heard that this game will be as cheap as Rs 500 to Rs 700 ($10 to $14) when it will hit the shelf. The release is dela **** because of Mumbai Terror attack. Earlier it was slotted to be released along with Europe. The Rockstar marketing fellows have reportedly said that it will be inappropriate and insensible to release the game when we are going through such terrorist attack. If the game is really so cheap, why should we bother to download such huge torrent with our slow limited bandwith. I would rather buy the retail version.

Play and upload at the same time! (GTA is offline so no problem with playing)
Do not block ur upload rate e.g. max 20kb/s upload, i upload max (100-250kb/s (can't do more))
My download speed isn't that good so it will take some time for me to play/seed!

u right that doesn't actually work perfectly...and now i figured it out why...
the reason is that u actually need to back up you microsoft xlive profile as well...and the worst part is that i came to know about that after i have already formated my pc without backing up the xlive!

but one good news is that even if u don't have the xlive profile which was with the save game u pla **** before....u can still play with your old save game...and the way u can make it work is by using a software named HEX WORKSHOP and edit your current xlive profile to match with old one...
it's a bit of time consuming and very confusing but here is the link :
