I downloaded 7-zip, but I don't know how to maximize file compression like he did.
Anyone want to help me out?

How does the keygen work? Norton is rejecting every cd-key the keygen gives me. The keygen also has a second part to it which bypasses activation by using a URL but i'm totally lost there!

wat i think is the KEY which are already been used might be keygen is genrating as these keys are black listed it is not accepting

the instructions are included like this:
1. Unrar, Burn or mount with Daemon Tools.

2. DISCONNECT FROM THE INTERNET! THIS IS IMPORTANT!

3. Run the installer, and run the keygen located in the EDGE dir.

4. Copy the Product Key from the keygen to the Norton Setup then press the I Agree button.

5. Complete installation and finally you will get to the activation, it's important that you are NOT connected to the Internet! Press the Next button.

6. A message box will come up telling you that you need Internet connectivity to continue, just press the OK Button, and then press the Next button.

7. You will get to a part where it's trying to connect to the Internet for online activation, after a while it will fail, this is fine, repeat this step again.

8. After attempting to do online activation two times, it will fail and open a browser window, close the browser window and press that big fat button in the keygen that says "Click Here to Enable Phone Activation!".

9. And if as by magic the phone activation has suddenly been enabled. Press the Next button.

10. Now copy the 36 digit Request Code into the Request Code field in the keygen, no dashes or spaces just one long 36 digit string. Select how many years you want to license the software for, and press the Generate button to get your Unlock Code.

11. Copy the generated Unlock Code to the Norton activation screen, then press the Next button.

12. Enjoy a fully unlocked copy, and naturally DO NOT register this software with Norton, you can now reconnect to the Internet.

I run the Norton 360 set-up and follow your steps but when it comes to the activation part, it just keeps trying to connect..and there is no "phone activation" button in the keygen??? so maybe I'm not doing it right..and yes I'm disconnected from the internet and still nothing

Yaa its right ..I have installed Norton antivirus 2008 and when it comes to activation ..its keep connecting to Internet and there is no "Phone activation " panel and no such button in key gen provided ..please help me as only 13 days are left for activation ....:( and yes i have disconnected to internet

yup worked perfectly - thanks nodi_master8..just copy and paste the link from when you try and connect and paste it into the box in the keygen that says "Request URL + Activation" and then generate and it'll give you a big long code underneath and then go back to Norton and click next and voila!

I am having problems. I did everything as you guys said but I get an error with the key generator when I plug in the url from the browser, and then click generate. I copy paste, do I need something else part from the url to add?

I installed the 360 version (included in the torrent) and actually I dont really know what I did. I started the setup and installed it offline. Then you come to a point when you need enter your key (from the gen) and I got a internet window. And now is when my actions were a bit fuzzy to remember. I think I tried to copy the link from the window into the gen (and gives me an unusual output) and I turned on the internet again (or maybe I first turned on the internet, cant remember). But the strange thing is that I only pushed the "Generate" in the gen. Suddenly I needed to fill in a form with email, pass, location and a secret question. After filling it in, I got 3 years... Weird, huh?

i tried and its 100% working and updated my virus difinitions.

Installed it 3 months ago n found out it had deadly virus called "Conficker". It had since then Hijacked my Laptop! Now i can't even remove it by completing full scan. I cannot run any new programs with .exe file extension, tried everything that i came to know from internet also tried system restore but no success. It simply says "The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it" for every program i try to open. ok... finally got it to work after multiple attempts.
Directions:
1)DISCONNECT FROM THE INTERNET!
2)Install Norton 360
3)Open the KeyGen (EDGE) included in the downloaded package
4)Generate a Norton 360 key and type it in
5)Click Next twice (clicking next once will give you an internet connection warning)
6)Norton will try to connect to the internet, it will open up your browser trying to reach their server
7)IMPORTANT: copy the web address from the internet browser that Norton tried to connect to
8)Go back to the keygen (EDGE) and select 3 years
9)Paste the link that you just copied to the "LINK + ACTIVATION" area in the keygen
10)Select "Generate" - Wait for Norton to finish, once it finishes loading, you now have the 3 years protection
11)Go back to Norton and just click skip/next/finish
12)Woohoo! 3 years of free anti-virus internet security

**** o there. I am trying to do like thelastdraco says, but when i get to step nr 6 it does not open any browser window. It remains on the same window of norton. I am trying to install norton antivirus. Internet conection is closed,so nothing. That window i can only close after i reconnect to the internet. **** o all. I've used this. Out of the 3 bundled programs, I chose to install the Norton Internet Security suite. It worked great (after some playing around with (offline) copy/paste procedures, as described above by others). I had 3 years of protection on my Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005... But NOW my problem is: I just upgraded to Windows 7 (which is AWESOME, by the way). Before upgrading, I backed up this file to a disc, for safe keeping, so I could run this AGAIN, & install it on my new operating system.. Only to get an error message when trying to run the setup, which says: "This program has known compatibility issues ... Norton Internet Security ver. 2007 and 2008 is incompatible with this version of Windows. For more information, contact Symantec." {{whomever programmed that error message made a grammatical mistake. It should have said ARE incompatible, rather than IS incompatible}} ..& of COURSE, I'm not going to contact Symantec about this. I'm simply going to go find a newer version. Bottom line: If you're still running XP, then I can personally verify that this torrent works like a charm. If you're on Windows 7, don't waste your time here. Thanks for this file though. It served me WELL, for a while. Goodbye 2008.
