Doesnt Open What Do I Do

It says "Please insert CDROM", what should I do!?!?

Here we go guys, this is the method I used to install the game and it works fine...

1. Download and install Alcohol 120% from www.alcohol-soft.com
(I know they say to use Daemon-tools, but it's not compatible with my OS and this works fine anyway. You'll only need the trial version, which is free)
2. Download The Sims 1 torrent, and take note of where it downloads to on your harddrive
3. Open Alcohol 120%, go to File> Open
4. Select the folder where The Sims was d/loaded to, select the .mds file and open
5. When this appears in the main frame of Alcohol 120%, right click the file and select 'Mount on device'
6. Take note of the frame at the bottom, which says what the virtual harddrive is labelled as (in my case, this was (F:), may be diff for you) - when you are asked for The Sims 1 cd, for example if you're installing expansion packs, select this drive and click continue

i downloaded this game as well as alcohol 120% and followed the steps. but all the icons in my sims1 folder tell me that i am missing the needed software to run the program. this has happened with several different games i've downloaded. does anyone have any idea what kind of software i might be missing and where to get it? thanks

this doesnt work for me. i downloaded the torrent downloaded alcohol 120% and managed to open the sims file but when I go to 'mount on device' i can't click on it. I need help!!!

I downloaded this for 8hrs, I waited and waited But in the end. I ended up not playing this game.

4 me this way doesnt work too. Only launcher appears and when i trying to install nothing is happening. I found file "Setup". I chose English and setup but makes use a "Lanucher"
