4. Then i copy the dll file and the TS3EP01

yes I did, and the error occurs because you're trying to install over a cracked The Sims 3.
try replacing the cracked files (such as TS3.ex_ and TSLHost.dll) with the original ones..
if that doesn't help, uninstall the sims 3 and reinstall it, and just after install World Adventures, and then and only then, crack it.
If you can't uninstall the sims 3 for some reason, google it and you should find EA's detailed procedure involving registry edition and such things...


edit: Actually, I tried a MULTI-21 release by RELOADED, which comes in a single .iso file, but I guess this should be the same. Working like a charm, thanks for the upload

I had reinstalled my Sims 3 then tried to install the new one....still doesn't work...

Do I have to get sims 3, the base game, to install this or this download covers both, base game and expansion world adventures?

You have to install the base game first.

hey, can someone help me? I downloaded The sims 3 adventures, and did all as you recommended, but when I try To run the installation this message appears :
'The setup has detected that the regional install code for the Sims 3 is different then what this expansion requires. This product requires the The Sims 3 to have the same regional code in order to be installed.'

So what do I do, which regional code is needed, and where do I choose which one to pick?

Okay..I finally got something

_HOW I PATCHED IT_
If you cracked the game, please reinstall
If you had mod the game, please back them up and reinstall
If you had cracked and mod the game, back up the saved files and reinstall the game

First I installed the Razor's version of Sim3.(Don't crack,and install the EA manager,and update it with Razor's 1.6 to 1.6 something 32...basically update to final retail)
Next click on Start, then Run, then type in regedit
Registry Editor opened.
Go to HKEY_Local_MACHINE
Go to Sims (Not EA folder), just Sims...open it..then click on The Sims 3
Click on SKU, changed value to 2. (2 stands for international version)

Now right click your Sims 3 icon on you desktop,"Find Target" (basically find the folder on the system)
Look around the folder (Which is the gamebin..) Look for a text file, "skuversion" and open it.
changed the value of game version to the one you have...basically make the launcher version match the text number...(Mine said 1.6 something 2, while my SKU text had 1.6 something 1, so i had to changed it to 2)
Save the text and then open the launcher...now it can update

_Installing Expansion_
Now it's patched to 1.7 something...
Mount the ISO
and run it...now it can install
Now it's done installing

Open the WA, and let it update.
Backup the original TS3EP01 and TSLHOSt.dll
and then crack it

That's how you install it and etc

i had reinstall my sims 3 its install perfectly but then i click the icon too play the game its start and black window has come and then game was close its not working man anyone plzzzzzzzzzzzz helpppppppp

tnx! I figured out the region problem but now the problem is with updates :/ It says Update error 'invalid file found' .. Dunno what to do, i reinstalled the game zillion times...:/

Updates...I had the same problem. But I fixed it by going to into the Program Files.

Right click the desktop icon of Sims 3, then "Find Target"
Now it will bring up the Sims 3 folder.

Here you want to find a text file called skuversion.
Just match the version number to the number that is showing in the sims 3 launcher (look at the bottom left of your launcher)

Those two didn't match for me, but once i changed it...it patched to 1.7...then i can install

This is how it worked or me:
I tried uninstalling the game, but it gave me an a error... so i deleted the installation folder (C:Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\TheSims 3)

then i cleared my registry with Ccleaner, because when i tried to reinstall it wouldn't let me.

After that i reinstalled the sims 3

Right after that i installed world adventures

then i applied the crack... and it all worked perfectly!

@Justbeproud: It should work just fine... since u dont have to crack the base one (the sims 3). the Crack is for World Adventure since its the one thats loading now.

guys for black screen all u have to do its download nvidia driver 186.18_desktop_winxp_32bit_english_whql.exe. and will works . for me its works with no problem .and 191.07 driver not works with sims 3 and the Expansion

Be careful taking seeder_boy's advice! Ensure that the driver he referenced applies to your graphics card BEFORE installing. It can cause major problems if the wrong driver is installed. BUT he is right, the black screen does happen with nVidia graphics cards.

OK,i have The Sims 3 RELOADED and World Adventures RELOADED.I`ve instaled the sims 3 did not crack it,mounted world adventures iso whit Deamon Tools,run autorun and then he says that The Sims 3 needs to be updated to instal World Adventures.....When i try to update he says Error whit The Sims 3 update setup can`t continue....I did all this with cracked Sims 3 and nothing.....CAN ENYONE HELP ME????????

I think i now the problem,The Sims 3 RELOADED is a beta version of the game,i`m downloading The Sims 3 by Razor it`s the final version of the game and then i will try it......If it works i will share it with all of you......

Finaly i now what is the problem,The Sims 3 RELOADED is a beta version of the game and it can not be updated,The Sims 3 by Razor is the final version and it can be updated,so after upading Sims 3 you can just instal The Sims 3 World Adventures i use The Sims 3 by Razor and The Sims 3 World Adventures by RELOADED.So enjoy

I deleted the folder like u did, i cleared my registry. Now if i try to install the Sims 3 it wont let me. It says that i have older version on!

So I downloaded the torrent and everything and every time I try to play it, it says "No disc found". Can someone please help me out a little?

this is what I have done, BUT i still have a problem

I installed the sims 3 with the download manager.
I did not use the crack, or the update file in the folder.
I started the sims 3 then let it update it self.
I then loaded the adventures pack, and then it updated it self.
I then used the adventures crack, copying over the two files.
I then started the Sims 3 adventures games, it starts up, goes into the loading screen, then I come to pick a town screen, I choose the only town I have, it starts loading it, about 1/4 way through it close's out to the desk top.

I'm thinking it might have updated once too much and now the crack doesn't work right now.

oh well, guess I'm going to have to spend $90.00 to buy both games, bummer


OK, forget all of that I typed before, I found my problem.
First. Install the Sims 3, DO NOT USE THE UPDATE ON THE DISK.
Second. DO NOT CRACK, DO NOT PATCH.
Third. Install the adventure pack.
Forth. it will update the Sims 3 to the right version.
Fifth. Crack the Adventure pack with file on the disk.
Sixth. Play the frig-gen game.

It's not working for me! :(

I followed the instructions, I un-installed the sims 3 and then re-installed it without putting the crack on. Tried to run the setup for Adventures and I get this message 'Error with Sims 3 update, Setup is unable to continue' and then it closes.

I patched my Sims 3 after I'd installed WA, but now it keeps giving errors about the data not being compatible with the game. I've reinstalled the Sims and WA, but does this mean I can never patch my games?
